I absolutely loved the tutoring sessions with Richard. He ensures that you feel supported in every way when doing English language. Whether it is through breaking down essay examples, having a formula for writing short answer questions and anayltical commentary. As i love having a set/ formulaic way in which i can answer and break down transcripts, i feel more confident going into the exam. Being able to meet with the other tutors on the team also supported me when i was not sure with structure or how to break down a prompt. I found the weekly sessions to be quite engaging as i would learn so much in an hours span. I highly recommend signing up for the sessions as you gain so much!!

Richard is a very knowledgeable, friendly and supportive tutor who has managed to help me tremendously with only a few sessions. My favourite feature of his tutoring is that he was willing to drive the lesson using the extensive and incredibly detailed resources that he has produced to make the most out of the time we havev instead of only answering questions I may have which is common in most tutors. On my first English Language SAC I achieved full marks which I truly believe could not have been possible without his help. I highly recommend RIchard as a tutor to anyone who may need one.

Richard is a great tutor for English Language as he has lots of experience in this subject. He provides detailed understandings of the study guide and content of metalanguage, essay and analytical commentary writing. Without the expertise I wouldn't have improve in writing and understanding the content through reinforcement of what I learnt with practice tasks at end of lessons.

Provides a lot of structured notes to use to refer to. Explains the metalanguage in a way that is easier to understand. Resources Richard provided such as essay notes, AC cheat sheet and the list of metalanguage was very helpful, they were clear and easy to understand.
