Since the first contact with the owners, I was professionally and always quickly assisted. Curtis shared some thoughts and accommodated my ideas to make my gift real and special. The quality of the item is stunning, it is perfect and absolutely the same I had thought. The service, the assistance, how quick they made it with short notice order, the excellent product, the price, the professionallism, all went beyond my expectations!! They truly put how my heart was expressing on that piece of wood! My huge thanks to Heartwood gifts for making my Valentine's Day even more special!!

The quality of leather is fantastic, you can feel the difference in the material from something you would purchase in a chain store. I had a beautiful engraving on the front cover, and it turned out very nicely against the leather. The paper inside of the journal is good quality & will provide my friend with a smooth writing surface. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a special gift for the writer in their lives, to absolutely order a custom journal from here! The sentimentality of the engraving just makes it so much more meaningful
