It was exactly what I had pictured. The workmanship and engraving was flawless. The service was friendly, courteous, and flexible to accommodate our tight time crunch. The quality of leather is fantastic, you can feel the difference in the material from something you would purchase in a chain store. I had a beautiful engraving on the front cover, and it turned out very nicely against the leather. The paper inside of the journal is good quality & will provide my friend with a smooth writing surface. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a special gift for the writer in their lives, to absolutely order a custom journal from here! The sentimentality of the engraving just makes it so much more meaningful
