#1 FIREPLACE INSTALLER & TROUBLESHOOTER FOR THE ENTIRE PENSACOLA AREA !!!!!
If you’re looking to have a fireplace installed, cleaned, or maintained I wouldn’t go with anyone else, further more if I was looking for any service also provided by them they’d be the first company I called.
After using and calling around to all Fireplace companies in the Pensacola area I found Doodlebuggers, when trying to convert my wood burning fireplace into a gas fireplace (gas line already installed). I first was directed to Amanda, WHO IS AMAZING, she handles and coordinates the project. Brain and another tech came to my house, did a thorough inspection, even catching that a previous company broke building code by replacing broken old ceramic plates with metal plates. The price for two ceramic plates, fire log set, burner, and installation came to roughly $2200, which is great pricing. Only thing I didn’t have them do is paint the plates, just due to the man hours that go into which drives up the price. Also, their schedule is a little further out than most but it’s worth the wait, if you want it done right.
Two things to note, they are the only company I found that actually installs gas burner systems! I was shocked by this when several others claim to be experts in this field?! Also, don’t be deterred by them having fewer stars some companies are grouped together and don’t reflect just their shop, but the entire region. For example the one that broken building code, eventually admitting to it, had 350 reviews with a 4.9 rating and I’ll never use them again.

Tech was right on time, very knowledgeable and efficient. He was very meticulous and made sure the area around the fireplace was spotless. First class work!

My home is only 9 years old and my fireplace has never worked correctly. I have had many adjustments made to my gas fireplace and two repairs that have not been successful. Out of frustration, I went to visit the Doodlebuggers showroom in Destin FL to see about swapping out my gas fireplace for an electric one. Amanda booked me a fireplace inspection at my home to see what kind of situation I had. Greg came on time and listened to all that I have been through with the fireplace. He immediately knew/ diagnosed the issue before he even got into the fireplace! Sure enough, he was correct and fixed the issue within 10 mins! He went on the roof and checked the chimney and went into the attic to check the construction of the flue and chimney as well. Everything else was fine. It was the best $275.00 I ever spent! Now I can FINALLY enjoy my fireplace and I know it is safe! I would highly recommend GREG and will certainly refer this company to clients!

I love the fireplace I picked up at Doodlebuggers Fireplace, Grill and Outdoor Store. The selection was huge and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable, guiding me to the perfect gas fireplace. I have used them on previous fireplace services and am confident they could handle any fireplace installation or repair. I also use them to install a new built in outdoor grill Highly recommend!

My tech, Greg Clear, was very informative of the issues with my fireplace and chimney. He walked me through all of the functions of my gas log system and how it works. He helped me determine the next course of action as we talked through all the recommendations. He could not have been more professional, or helpful. I highly recommend him and Doodlebuggers for service and repairs.
