I wanted to write a review for Dr. Johnson. I am a dentist practicing in Las Vegas, and was searching for a dentist that could handle a potentially complicated situation for a patient of mine that had moved their recently. I found Dr. Johnson through the Wake Forest Residency program and am glad I did. My patient from Las Vegas was able to see this competent, kind and incredibly well trained dentist. Wow! I was very impressed! Staff is truly incredible, made me feel welcomed, answered all my questions (even the silly ones) and made sure I was taken care of. The entire facility is new, very clean and organized. They didn’t try to fool me into procedures or cleanings I didn’t need and helped me figure out my new insurance. Happy to have found a comfortable place with such wonderful staff! 10/10 recommend! (I live out in Jamestown and it was worth the drive to Winston for sure!)

Dr. Spangler is special jewel that has been placed in my life by God! All my life I have been afraid of going to a dental office, and horrified by the pain. In fact, I didn't think dentist had feelings....I just assumed they were all [PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS IN MY MOUTH]. Dr. Spangler is gentle, he explains procedures before he opens my mouth, and he has true discernment, knowing when I am somewhat apprehensive about hearing that drill, or looking at that intimidating needle. I am so happy that he is my dentist for life, I say dentist for life because, no matter what station of life I am in, I will always see Dr. Spangler, even if it calls for me having to travel back to North Carolina in the event that I move. I am also grateful that Dr. Spangler will come up with strategic detailed plans in order to the final resolve, a beautiful smile that does not entail acute pain in the mouth. Thank you, Dr. Spangler.
