This was beyond my expectations. Our Expedition Leader was fabulous, the monarchs were breathtaking and the food was wonderful. The extra activities, such as the botanical gardens and city tours, really rounded out the trip. It was the trip of a lifetime.

Absolutely fabulous! It was an experience we’ll never replicate—like being in a butterfly snow globe. Our Expedition Leader was so kind and knowledgeable, always putting our welfare first.

Seeing the river of butterflies was incredible! The trip was amazing, and the staff was awesome.

I was in awe of the butterflies and loved learning about their migration. It also exposed me to Mexican culture and demonstrated how well Nat Hab works with locals. When I travel with Nat Hab, all I have to do is get to the airport, and they handle everything from there. I always feel safe, and there were nice surprises!

Every experience deepened my appreciation for the complex factors affecting monarch butterflies. I already understood what happens in the United States, but immersing myself in culture and science gave me new insights into the perils monarchs face in Mexico. The peacefulness of the forest was remarkable. That so many individual butterflies can complete this improbable migration is just a miracle. There is such joy in the mystery.

Visiting the mural in Angangueo and learning the town's history was a highlight, as were the monarch sanctuaries. Seeing so many beautiful birds were also memorable. This Nat Hab trip fulfilled my dream of witnessing the monarch migration.

The thoughtful planning of the hiking and horseback routes, exceptional dining, guided walks through Valle de Bravo and Angangueo, and the Cosmovitral Botanical Garden were amazing. Witnessing the butterfly migration was awe-inspiring. Learning about WWF's initiatives regarding monarch ecotourism, reforestation and sustainability was greatly appreciated.

This was my first Nat Hab trip, and I can guarantee it won't be my last. I achieved my dream of seeing the monarchs in the butterfly reserves. Experiencing the local culture and food was also incredibly special. What made this adventure even more special was the exceptional care and hospitality provided by our Expedition Leaders.

Choosing a favorite part is challenging as everything was magical. The guides made our experience extraordinary with surprises and personalized attention. The food was exceptional. Immense thanks for this magical opportunity!

Beyond seeing the butterflies and the gorgeous Cosmovitral Botanic Gardens, I thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie of our Expedition Leaders. They made an outstanding pair and the entire trip was seamless because of them. I was extremely impressed by Nat Hab's dedication to the environment, and saw with my own eyes how our presence benefits local people and wildlife. Everything about this adventure was impressive.

Experiencing nature at its finest was unforgettable. It was obvious our Expedition Leaders had an outstanding appreciation for nature and took great pleasure in expanding our knowledge of the monarchs and their future. I will treasure these memories forever.

I loved each of our three visits to the sanctuaries to see the monarchs in all their splendor. Our guides' expertise with birds was an added bonus, and the tips and photographic instructions were a significant help to both my wife with her iPhone and me with my DSLR.

I would rate our Expedition Leaders 12 out of 10. Their deep knowledge of butterflies, birds, local culture and history was extremely beneficial to the group. Their assistance ensured I came home with outstanding photographic memories of the trip. I was very impressed with their respect for and support of the conservation efforts being developed by the locals for the butterfly sanctuaries. Not only did they discuss WWF's conservation work, but it became very obvious that they sincerely believed in and practiced strong conservation efforts themselves. Their desire to leave no evidence of their visit speaks for itself. They were the best guides I have ever experienced.

I also cannot say enough positive things about our Expedition Leaders. They are truly among the best guides I have ever had. They are remarkable people and SO helpful and knowledgeable--it was just stunning.

The butterflies were surreal, and I was very impressed with learning about the reforestation project. The open-air trucks, horse rides and hiking all enhanced the experience.
