Hi Tony, In my profile I mentioned starting to play guitar in 1964 it is now 2021, I have been playing all these years, and like you mentioned in your introduction, I spent lots of money on books, lessons on line, Skype, in person and U Tube as well as other avenues all of them were disappointing. Most of them just wanted to impress on me how good they were. That is until I found your SITE! It is GREAT! I enjoy it so much, you take things slow enough so I can understand. I play for my own enjoyment and like the sound of my CF. Martin guitar. I like country, blues, and oldies. I have arranged some of my favorite songs into pick style chord melodies. It will take some time for me to adapt to finger style, that's why I break off and play something else once in a while and then come back to finger style and also looking into your hybrid style.
