I backed away when I first saw TAC. Looked like just a bunch of people who jammed via TAC. After using a couple of other internet teachers, I found they were almost 90% oriented to electric guitar and speed exercises. I am an acoustic player, and they just weren’t teaching making music (as defined by a person of advanced maturity), just kicking up the distortion and and playing scale exercises loudly and quickly. About to give up I looked again at Tony Polecastro’s TAC, thought long and hard about the expense, and decided to try it. WOW, what a wonder-filled surprise. He really is an acoustic guitarist, and teaches acoustic guitar. The 30 day intro course is great. You will find out yourself when you play a blues accompaniment in you first lesson! And it gets better from there. Do it!

I love the bite size lessons leading to actual music. I love the fact that I can repeat as many time as I wish an exercise without getting on somebody's nerves. But, because there is a but, if you have a difficulty that you cannot overcome, the support system is virtually non existent. You can write about it, pose a question, but nothing will happen beside "Don't give up" messages. Do not get me wrong, it is very nice when you receive them but in term of help they are pretty much useless. I would have expected that at some points some communication from a knowledgeable person.

Seems like Tony has a good guitar community going on here. Only been a member for a week but have been watching the Tuesday sessions for sometime now. I like his emphasis on regular pratice, setting goals, and having fun. Watched the recording of the 90 day progress session, looked great again. Think i will join in October.

Brand new to the program and was on vacation after just a couple lessons, but overall love the approach and supportive style! ❤️

Tony and the TAC family is a true guitar Geek family. Easy to follow short stair step lessons. This is how you go from dabbling to playing. Yes the fingers will hurt, yes the hands will Cramp and yes you will play better.

I already recommended to a co-worker and she signed up. it sounds like she is more of a loyal student. I take lessons and I supplement every now and then with TAC.

I learned some things about strumming that are useful in the first video I watched. I am using them all the time.

This is an excellent program if you are dedicated to it .
