It is easy to follow along and pick the rate of learning that you are comfortable with. I have enjoyed my lessons so far.

Tony’s very personable and explains methods very clearly plus you can review as much as you need to. Every step of the way you are coached, encouraged and inspired by other TAC members. I’m feeling good about my playing and excited to pick up my guitar everyday!

You are able to devote the time you have... Someday's that is 3 hours and other day's...20 minutes. There is no pressure. Some challenges are very difficult for me and I go to skill instead. Other days are perfect for my progression.

I’ve been doing these lessons for the last few weeks, and after 25 years of not playing my guitar the sessions have been great for getting me closer to my former speed and dexterity! I found the 30 day challenge to be both fun and helpful in many respects, and am looking forward to continuing to learn more from the daily challenges and other courses available on the website. The best online program!!! I’m 64 and finally having fun on my guitar journey. Playing every day at least 10 minutes. Taken many online and private lessons in past 10 years but lots of stopping and starting got me nowhere. Tony’s classes are quick and fun to play. The simple working a little each day has lead to progress. While the new Web site is still slow and has removed some of the things that made excitement and joy in the process a daily occurrence, like the map and jam clubs, the lessons are still a road to growth. More progress in the last 2 plus years than the previous 50 (of which only about 2 were devoted to any learning or playing, I admit.)

Competed Fretboard Wizard in about six weeks. Being new to TAC, I first started with the "30 Days to Play" tutorial by Tony (a great review for me). I used Saturdays to work through the six sections of the Fretboard Wizard. Have attempted all the Daily Challenges during the weeks since starting TAC. In this course I was totally shocked to discover I do NOT have a bad ear for hearing a key note (with an assist by the guitar). Tony has taught me how to find the key of any music composition by using the fretboard. The Chord Matrix and Nashville Numbering System are great tools I will continue to use. The downloads provided are wonderful references for me - especially the CAGED System and Improvisation Framework. All this information was totally new to me. I believe the Fretboard Wizard material will be the "Holy Grail" for my guitar and songwriting success. This course all came together in the last section for me. The quizzes are helpful and actually fun to do. This has been a great introduction to recognizing the notes of the fretboard, basic music theory and beginner songwriting for this novice guitar geek. Old dogs can learn new tricks! Plan to repeat this course periodically as there is a wealth of information to master. 🎸Play on!

I just completed Tony's Fretboard Wizard coarse. I do not have a music background and am just learning how to play the guitar. Some of the topics covered in the Fretboard Wizard coarse includes understanding scales, chords, figuring out what key a songs is in, the chord progression in the song and how to transpose the song to a different key. Some great important theory in understanding music and some fun challenging lessons in determining song keys and chords by ear. If you don't have a background in music theory I would recommend taking this coarse.
