TAC is a good way to first, get back into guitar or learn for the first time. Then when you finish the first 30 days (which is more like 24 but gives some breathing room) helps you move on to the next stage of learning that really gives you freedom if you want or structure if you want, really the best of both worlds. little pricey but like he says in his pitch, do you want to continue trying on your own figuring out what to practice or let someone else figure all that out and actually just play guitar. All in all I'm happy I spent the money and I don't regret it one bit.

Tony's Acoustic Challenge is ideal for the guitarist who wants developing their playing ability to be an engaging and enjoyable experience. I had taken lessons on-and-off for several years but I was dissatisfied with my progress. I have been amazed at the advances I have made in just a short space of time since joining TAC and am very much looking forward to what the future holds.

I love TAC! I had been playing the guitar badly for over 45 years. I have had 5 different guitar instructors that lasted anywhere from 1 to 3 years. I always left feeling frustrated that I had spent the money and time and still felt like I had no clue what was going on up the fretboard. It was almost as if they were holding back secrets of the fretboard until they deemed me worthy. Not Tony. Boom! He kicks the door open and here is the fretboard and let’s get going! Bless him! His classes are fun, short (10 Minutes a day is all he asks) and what I love is that he has structured his teaching methods to incorporate all aspects of playing. Finger style, flat picking, strumming, TAC has a wonderful community of supportive guitar players who all have the same goal. To be well rounded competent guitar players. Isn’t that what we all want? I watched Tony’s Acoustic Letter for a year before i joined. Too bad for me. I wasted a year of fun and learning. I was a skeptical and kept roaming the internet for freebie classes. Obviously, no focus or planned approach. I can honestly say that I feel I have learned more in a month with TAC than I have in all the previous lessons I have ever taken before. Tony exudes confidence in not only himself but in you as well. His humor and humility instantly put you at ease. I have experienced so many ‘light bulb ‘ moments since joining. For me, the joy of learning at my pace from someone who believes that I can play all of the guitar is just huge. The ‘small wins’ as Tony calls them quickly add up for you! I feel this type of teaching can benefit any style of player as it really does make you a more complete and well rounded guitarist. You are never to old to learn or improve. My wife who has never played or picked up a guitar before has joined Tony’s 30 days to play. It is so cool to watch her grab her guitar and say with a grin, “I am off to do my lessons.” And then to hear her actually playing and making music in less than 3 weeks is nothing short of amazing. We now talk about guitars together and what we are learning today. I wish I had been given this opportunity when I was starting to learn. We are having fun and I believe one day we will be playing together. How cool is that? Thank you Tony for all the dedication you have to your students. The time and effort you have put into your phenomenal online self paced guitar instruction classes is deeply appreciated! I no longer feel as if I am playing guitar badly. I am learning the entire fretboard and all different styles of playing! Yay TAC! I have found a home!

My favorite thing is that you are taught to play fun things from the start. The lessons are easy andninclude 4 levels to make surenyoi are up to speed before moving on to the next lesson.

Overall philosophy is very aligned with mine. That of daily, even though small time slots if necessary, repetition is the fastest way to better retention. As a total rookie, it is important for things to be broken down the simplest it can be and it is in the 30 Day challenge. Also like the fact that it allows me to work at my pace. Don't have to move to another course and can always go back as needed, and I've needed. LOL I'm sure that with Tony's experience and abilities, what can be learned by more experienced players is equally as challenging, but I haven't even peeked at it, because I just want to stay focused on what is going to help me personally get playing with friends and family sooner rather than later.

I never thought that online guitar lessons and coaching could be this much fun and rewarding!! Tony's methodology makes each lesson enjoyable, no matter how hard some of them might be! I especially like the human factor of how he laughs at himself when he messes up a lick he's teaching or hits the wrong string...and his dog Coda that makes an occasional appearance. Priceless!

I joined TAC (Tony’s Acoustic Challenge) back on December of 2020 & I have been doing the daily challenges since then. Committing at least 10 minutes a day to just practicing the challenges, warm-ups & licks learned here. I’ll have to say some days are hard for me to get the exercise at optimum speed, but I have been shooting for more accuracy. I would say in the 2 moths time I already see some improvement in my picking technique as well as a little better finger strength. My wife has even noticed that I am playing some things differently. The TAC community on the forums are very warm, genuine, welcoming people who will support you in your guitar journey & I have really enjoyed my interactions with them. Very happy to have joined this program.

So happy I stumbled across this program. Every day he offers challenges for us to improve our playing ability. I consider myself a very basic beginner and even with his years of experience, he can relate to what it is like to begin the process! He explains every single step of learning and there is a challenge each day along with his positive encouragement. You can take your own time learning every step, and the videos are very clear.... so clear that you feel like your teacher is in the room!!!
