I've been playing guitar in some capacity 4 for some 40 years now.Along this "journey" I have hit some peaks in my improvement as well as flat spots with my inspiration.(known as ruts). Overall I am pleased with my ability and am so glad I took it up. I'm probably a full fledged intermediate by now! lol... I had always been looking to get my music stand and materials out again, and when l heard Tony's presentation on the TAC method, It just clicked. I went thru a 10 day workshop, and with just those sessions under my belt felt marked improvement and confidence. It shows we never stop learning even after 40 years. Tony is patient, assuring and top notch.

Its great it is helping not only to Enjoy practicing and playing my guitar, l can see how quickly lm advancing from slow meduim to fast speed . When l finish my practice each day l have my practice session prepared for the next day so lm good to go as soon as l pick up my guitar. I highly recommend Tonys Acoustic challenge to anyone who wants to play guitar. Big happy thanks Tony

TAC is pushing me to learn skills outside of my comfort zone. I look forward to a new skill building lesson each day. Great resource!

I can go at my own pace! Can't do a new lesson every day, don't have to.

Fo over 40 years I played basic chords; no barre chords or anything over the 3rd fret. I've been a member of TAC for about six months and I look forward to a new lesson every day. The simple joy of playing my guitar has grown so much!! I just complete Tony's Fretboard Wizard course and that opened up the entire world of guitar for me! Highly Highly recommend Tony's awesome teaching style and the TAC community of players at all skill levels! Six months ago I couldn't even spell "guitar geek", now I are one! Guitar Geeks Unite! Great system I am learning something new everyday.....AND getting better by the minute :) Love the wake up warm ups.....fantastic 10 minutes for me first thing every morning ...brew up a happy coffee grab my little traveller and head outside to give my fingers q real stretch and warmup .....my pinky gets a good workout pretty much everyday :)

Tony does an excellent job of explaining how to do the task at hand, and the video shows how to accomplish the task with close-up footage of his hands. If you are a slow-learner (which I have found I am when trying to learn guitar), you can back the video up and watch it as many times as you need to for full understanding. I have to stop and start videos so I can write appropriate information down to help me understand what I am supposed to do. (I have to use multiple senses to get it -- so I watch and listen, write it down, and then use my notes to back-up what is on the video.) I am a total newbie -- knowing nothing, so it is slow-going for me. I can't say I have mastered anything yet, but the course material is well-designed and well-presented, so with patience and persistence, I think I will ultimately begin to be able to master skills.
