Tony does an excellent job of explaining how to do the task at hand, and the video shows how to accomplish the task with close-up footage of his hands. If you are a slow-learner (which I have found I am when trying to learn guitar), you can back the video up and watch it as many times as you need to for full understanding. I have to stop and start videos so I can write appropriate information down to help me understand what I am supposed to do. (I have to use multiple senses to get it -- so I watch and listen, write it down, and then use my notes to back-up what is on the video.) I am a total newbie -- knowing nothing, so it is slow-going for me. I can't say I have mastered anything yet, but the course material is well-designed and well-presented, so with patience and persistence, I think I will ultimately begin to be able to master skills.

I'd been playing on and off for 30 years, but hadn't made significant progress. I was always hesitant to sign up for things like TAC because I didn't know if the process was appropriate for my (low) skill level. TAC does an amazing job of making improvement possible at every level. In just a few weeks I've seen real progress in my playing. And, as promised, I'm having more fun. I love the way Tony frames it all...the emphasis on "less is more", a 90-day goal, and the value of small wins. The method is clear and it works. And I've found the community both welcoming and helpful. I'm so glad I joined the TAC family!

I like the way Tony presents the exercises. There is a lot of material but he continues to stress you don't need to master it all. I pick up what I can. I find that I have been picking my guitar up most every day and playing it for about a month and a 1/2 now and I can notice that I am a bit more of a guitar player than I was . I am not too much of a social butterfly, I haven't posted any videos but I am learning stuff and I plan on continuing with Tony's acoustic challenge I find it as rewarding as the personal lessons I was taken 15 years ago at a much reduced cost

Just started 2nd week of the 30 day challenge. Have some experience with the ukelele but just beginning guitar. Have had problems in the past trying o apply music theory to actually playing the instrument. This programs integrates both by teaching you how to make music from the very beginning. Definitely worth the investment if you’re committed to becoming a guitar player.

I have played the guitar for many years although not well. Sure I can play a song, but often my fingers seem to trip over each other at times when it comes to picking. I have always had a goal to be a better flat picker and finger-picker and since joining TAC not a day goes by that I don't learn something that is helping to move forward to that goal. TAC is a wealth of valuable knowledge and great tips to put knowledge into practice. I know without a doubt that following what Tony teaches will make me a better player. It's all up to me to keep at it, but Tony makes it so easy to keep going and actually gets me excited about the potential within. After only a few weeks I feel this is the best investment I have made in my guitar journey. Thanks Tony!

I am a professional violinist, violist, and singer-songwriter, and always wanted to be able to represent my own songs myself in public (or private) in a more real and fluid way. Up until recently I was restricted by having to sing with a backing track or to use my clangy, rudimentary, and very limited guitar skills. Within sixish weeks of practicing every day, and using the TAC course almost daily I have become proficient enough to play out and online. Whilst still not a guitarist (yet) it has given me the confidence to control my playing to accompany my songs. The freedom for that is amazing, and is opening possibilities for me on into the future. After playing poorly for a lot of years I made several changes that I learned from the lessons that gave me huge improvements!!! I look forward to practice everyday that I possibly can regardless of the amount of time I have. Would like more of how to apply all these scales and runs of chords to go with. GREAT STUFF!!!
