First, I really like Tony's attitude. I was following the free classes of another online instructor and, at times I felt like he was angry and frustrated. Tony always looks like he's having a good time! Secondly, the lessons are short and manageable. For me, this is great because I can get a good handle on what I'm learning and I'm building on my skills. Plus there are choices, and I'm learning fingerpicking right away! Third, the community is very welcoming and supportive. Now, if I could just get that F-chord I'd be in nirvana!🙂

I have been playing guitar for almost 5 years, so I'm skeptical about the "come ons" I receive from online teachers who can teach you to "play like a pro in 30 days!" I am used to in-person instruction, so I was hesitant to sign up. But in this pandemic, My thoughts were that any kind of instruction or music interaction was good. My concerns were that it would be too basic and not help me achieve my goals. The "hook" that got me to sign up was the "guitar rut" that I was in. I needed something to make practice more interesting. Tony's small tips like practicing at the same time each day and only committing to 10 minutes actually held my attention and staved off the reluctance to practice. Has it made me a better player? Cannot say absolutely after only 2 weeks, but I do notice my chords are clearer and I am playing smoother than before. Is it the Guitar Challenge??? Most likely. Time will tell after I complete my 3 month trial.

I'm a beginner guitarist and this program has made it fun to learn. The 30 day beginner challenge has taught me a lot in a short time. and made it fun. I'm really looking forward to the next stage. One other thing that makes this program really good is the support from the other members. If you ask a question, someone answers it in a few seconds. This program is worth the time and money.

I'de been playing two years before I started. Been going from the beginning lessons and I've got to say my control,timing,and form have improved quite a bit. It don't come naturally for me, it's a grind. But this tool helps me immensely.

I've known how to play guitar for 50 years and have always been skeptical about this type of instruction. After just a couple of weeks of going through Tony's exercises, I think I am finally learning to hold my hand in the proper position and developing the finger and hand strength to be a player instead of a strummer.

After being away from the guitar for many years, I was not sure I would be able to pick it up again. This thought was unfounded. Tony and the members of TAC are very supportive. The video lessons are brief and well organized. I am making steady progress and am having fun. If you want to learn to play, this is the place to be.

I love the methodical manner of the lessons and the fact that Tony teaches several techniques like flat picking, finger picking, strumming, etc. There is even a unit on stretching for the guitar. Perhaps the best part of TAC is the realistic goal setting (setting workable goals like playing 10 minutes a day) and the fact that "FUN" is stressed over "mastery" (which will eventually come if you continue having fun!)
