It has only been a couple weeks since I joined TAC but I must say I am extremely pleased. I found TAC while searching the internet for guitar helps and I'm glad I did. I like how everything is organized. I like the structure. I like Tony's easy-going style in his lessons. There is clearly a vast amount of content for me to learn and learn is what I plan to do.
I am an intermediate guitar player and TAC looks to be great for beginners, intermediate and advanced players.
It will require a lot of practice on my part but I looking forward to being a much better player as a result of TAC. And by the way, it is a lot of fun.

I can’t recommend TAC highly enough - for complete newcomers to music AND for experienced musicians who already have a working understanding of muisc theory. When I signed up for TAC, I was hoping that it would be as rewarding as the experience I’ve had using a similar resource to improve my bass playing. TAC is blowing my expectations out of the water! Tony takes the guesswork out of what to learn next and delivers lessons in a brief but jam-packed package. I even learned new songs taking Tony’s quizzes!
I’m just two weeks into Tony’s program and I’ve already had some big breakthroughs that have expanded my understanding of music theory. The coolest thing is that even without the foundation in theory that I already had when I began TAC, I would have learned all of this theory because Tony explains it so clearly and guides you to apply it in your playing.
As a complete newbie to six-string guitar, I was hoping TAC would ground me in solid technique fundamentals. And TAC has not disappointed! Within the first week, I picked up hacks for both my fretting hand and strumming/pick technique. And these technique pointers have also improved my bass playing - BONUS!!

My July 2020 post: if you need motivation a supportive community and fun lessons that are challenging without being overwhelming give it a try.
My April 11th post: Big unnerving format change: As of now and my understanding of a customer service email, you can't get access to previous month's lessons you paid for. You need to save your month's lessons in your favorites or they are lost forever. I now don't have access to 9 months of lessons I previously had, and some I did not access at all because I was out of town. I can't access Wednesday improv lessons with recordings which I like to practice repeatedly because I didn't save them. You will get repeats of lessons throughout the year-there are many new lessons, but not a new lesson every day. Lessons you paid for are gone unless saved. So save everything if you are just starting out. I may just be ending.

I like TAC's structured approach and that there is no pressure to achieve mastery, but plenty of encouragement just to have fun. highly recommended! 😁👍

First of all to say that as a new member giving four stars rather than five is not a criticism. I follow another guitar web support group and both are damn good, with minor things in both that stop me giving five. For TAC, the working week having the short video lessons with a pattern is just what I was missing in my approach and it helps me greatly. the professional structure, with the Academy, simply adds to the strength. I love the variety of topics covered and the way that you can focus around your identified needs. Although I have not yet explored the Community aspect much yet, I am sure that I will get into that more over time and hopefully meet new jamming friends. Keep it all going please! Robin

The daily practice routines and the challenges we face in TAC keeps this beginner interested and its fun. i cant say that i love TAC, but its right up there with butter and honey on toast.
We hesitated at first bcuz of the money, plain and simple. And the info adds... only the MY Pillow man has more! After joining TAC, its been enjoyable, i look forward to the lessons each day as well as all the guitar geekdom stuff. HECK, we are watching old episodes of Acoustic Tuesday shows now. What we like most about TAC is... "learnability at home" is learnability a werd like gooder or werd? idk anyhow, we like TAC! and its very encouraging for us. As for as what type of player would TAC be best for.. my first thought is, a guitar player. Blessings...

If you are only playing chords, TAC will help you learn to pick the guitar and broaden your horizen for being able to play more songs! The lessons seem fast but if you go back to them and listen to what is said, you will get it.
