I am a TAC member for about one month.
My decision to start the guitar journey again has brought me here. When I picked up the guitar for a first time, many years ago, my musician adventure didn't last very long. I got to know a few chords, learn couple of songs and that's about it, I stopped playing.
Anyway, this year, full of determination I decided to pick up my guitar and do it right, so I start looking for a good place to make it happen, YouTube, I thought that would be a great spot to begin. It was, couple of YT teachers comes up straight away, nothing was about to stop me, I kicked off with practicing.
After few days of noodling around, that add comes up, the TAC add. By that time I knew that I need a solid practice plan like I have from my other hobbies. I listened up what Tony had to say and I tuned in. Did I hesitate? Yes I did. Why? Well, I'm always suspicious when people want to sell me something, in particular well spoken, knowing what I want and magicly appearing in that exactly moment, using all the marketing thingies I was thought about, kind of people. Description of the programme matched with my thoughts and my imagine of true practice routine. I said to myself, let's do it, that mate looks like he know what he is talking about, there's a money back guaranty if I wont find this helpful and product looks really good. Today I'm a part of the Challenge, I like it a lot. I can feel a guitar geek growing up in my heart.
Once I become a member I've found that there's more then just a practice plan (mon-fri) 10 min a day or more. There's also many courses you can take for example: Flatpicking jumpstart, fingerstyle jumstart, forum where you can ask a question or seek for any guitar help and acoustic tuesday. Acoustic Tuesday is a youtube series about, obviously, every spectrum of acoustic life. When I joined TAC there was 140th episode of acoustic Tuesday, so for me now, every day is acoustic tuesday. (small win actually)
The absolutely best thing about TAC is that I finally have my practice plan that I always wanted, I know what I'm going to do on every practice session and I know it will keep me going.
Considering everything that my humble person know, Tony's Challenge would be great for fellas like myself, coming back from a long break of their guitar life, looking for a solid practice plan. Beginners will find for themselves a good point to start because that was my level when I dropped out of the acoustic world.
