Great program for keeping you on track. This is the most I’ve played my guitar in 30 years...exciting to master the little steps that inspires me to do more!

Tony, your program is a classic example of self-paced learning! I can learn at my own speed, and replay the lesson as many times as I need to, in order to grasp the material. Bravo!!

I'm coming up on my 2nd month of the TAC program and I'm really happy with the program. Love Tony's teaching style and the community support on the website. My previous approach to learning guitar was to trying and just learn songs on youtube which really got me stuck in a rut. The daily lessons with TAC are really nice because it kind of forces me to try learning skills I wouldn't normally try. Which ultimately I believe will make me a more well rounded guitar player. I'm actually looking now to signup as a lifetime member! My only two concerns with the program are.. 1) The song library seems to be very limited in scope to more bluegrass type of music which will definitely help me in building my guitar skills but I would LOVE to learn some more folk or more modern songs that I would normally listen to. For example, Landslide by Fleetwood Mac or Let Her Go by Passenger. Just something along that line that would be motivating to learn and fun for others to listen to. 2. Right now as a beginner there is a ton of challenging exercises for me to get through and improve but I wonder after 2 years when hopefully I'm more of an intermediate guitar player will the site still challenge me? The good thing is that I feel more confident now that this site will keep me motivated to get to that intermediate skill level than any other sites I've tried. Overall awesome site and I'm happy to be part of the TAC community.

Man, I was hooked from the beginning! You get to start out with something that is actually interesting and makes you sound like Hank the Security Guard from The Office playing at Crime Aid -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsGKr8X6Bp8 (6:35). By the end of the first or second week you have worked up to something that you can actually play and sound like a Blues/Rock-a-billy Fu-Master. Maybe not exactly Fu-Master....but I definitely feel like I'm closer. I think any program that does NOT start out with "Ve vill begin mit der G chord und you vill practice the G chord until you have achieved mastery. Then and only then vill ve learn the C chord..." is fantastic. The videos are clear and concise. They are short enough to be manageable but you get a very clear picture of what you are learning and why. I enjoy watching Tony and you can tell that the guy can blister the guitar but he is taking time to explain concepts, be supportive and encouraging and really help you with technique, tips and tricks. I was grinding away on the Boogie the other day and my 16-year old son breezed by and said "Geez Dad, that almost sounds like a song." It was touching.... :-)

It is organized so you can have a plan and stick to it. I feel I am learning new things all the time. It doesn't take a big time commitment and my fingers are getting tough and stronger. I haven't been doing it for that long but I have enjoyed myself so far. It feels real comfortable and I am losing my anxiety about playing the guitar.

I am enjoying every bit of Tony's Acoustic Challenge! I have been playing guitar for about 8.5 years. I have reached a point where I have most of the basics, but I am progressing pretty slowly. I am having fun playing the songs I grew up with and playing at open mic nights, but there is so much I still want to learn (mainly soloing and using a pick). I joined Tony's Acoustic Challenge in mid April and I am very happy I did.The daily challenges are focused on skills that build on each other and help you learn. Even though I've been playing for a while, I took the 30 Days to Play Guitar course and was able to pick up a few things. The biggest thing that I didn't even realized was part of this when I signed up is the community of other guitar players at many different levels that form a very welcoming and helpful group. The forums are a great place to get answers to whatever questions you have and to see how everyone else is tackling the same things you are. I think that alone is worth the price of admission. A couple things in Tony's ad hit the nail right on the head. I was spinning gears not really having anything to focus my learning on. It was a little here and a little there. Tony's system dumps you right into certain things to learn/try. Some things that you knew you wanted to learn and maybe some things you didn't realize you wanted to learn. The other thing is that this HAS to be fun, otherwise you will never get anywhere. I have fun playing, that is why I play. With Tony's system and the community built around it, he makes learning fun too. There is more, but I've rambled quite a bit here already. If you are on the fence, hop on down, grab your guitar, and join in the fun!

What a great method. It is complete different but very effective. It ask you to do some stuff you might thing it does make sense but in fact you are learning very important fundamentals and basis concepts . I totally recommend

I found Tony’s Acoustic challenge. I did not accept the challenge immeditely because i am very busy with ministry work and I don’t spend time in social media either. Once I became a member, I found that even with my busy schedule I could follow Tony’s style of teaching and that I could improve. what I love the most about TC is that I can go at my own pace, there is no presure to learn lessons perfectly, I am learning theory, and I have learn so much about guitars it is ridiculous. I am loving learning with a pick, but eventually I want to be able to play worship songs better.
