I recommend TAC it's an easy to follow program that mixes things up so you have fun and have a better sense of accomplishment learning different skills and techniques. I wish this was around when I first started trying to learn how to play over 30 years ago.

Tony has a great teaching personality. He pushes for more, but emphasizes progressing at your own pace.

I was intrigued by Tony's Acoustic Challenge because unlike most online courses, it did not offer the magic bullet that would turn me into a virtuoso overnight. Instead, it promised to make it fun to play guitar, and it has. As a music first, guitar second type player, I missed a lot of basics that many people learn early on, and everything I've done in my first 2 weeks has helped fill those gaps. I like the fact that Tony keeps it short and offers a different type of lesson each day. Unlike the "do this for 10,000 hours and you'll be a monster" courses, Tony nailed it when he said "Do this for 10 minutes", because anyone can do 10 minutes, but more importantly, if you do it for 10 minutes (which is a long time if you're struggling), you really can do it. I had wondered if a guitar course for all levels might be too basic for someone who has been playing for almost 50 years, but my first lesson (WU15 Connecting Pairs) disabused me of that. Although the lessons tend to stand alone, I can see the impact of each lesson on everything else I do on guitar, and am able to transfer Tony's ideas to other things that I work on. My technique is cleaner and more precise in everything I play (including other instruments), and by applying the 10 minute rule (plus my own "Rule of 3") I am revitalized and having fun. What I like most is the one-on-one with Tony, he is AWESOME!

I have only been a member for two weeks and having fun learning. I, like many of you, have spent money on lessons and books only to grow uninterested with my guitar. Tony's program has made learning enjoyable. I recieve plenty of information from Tony. TAC has different speeds which helps me progress at a pace that works for me. I find Tony's approach to teaching works for me, and would recommend this program to everyone. Learning to play the guitar is a journey, its my journey, and I'm having a blast. thanks Tony

I am enjoying having a daily routine. Something new and fresh to try. I am noticing I am developing muscle memory and increasing speed with playing. It's hard not to sit for hours looking through all the materials and courses offered. I am impressed with the program and enjoy Tony's teaching and easygoing encouragement in each lesson.

One of the things I like most about this challenge is the fun I'm having and seeing consistent progress. This has been much better than lessons for me, I'm building skills I can see.

TAC is a great site. Tony explains what you should do, then you have a tab you can use plus the exercise is shown slow, medium, fast. You can jump forward or back or stay with the program Tony has set up. I looked at a LOT of sites. I am glad I picked TAC
