I joined TAC a couple of weeks ago and I’ve got to say, it is so nice to have a prepared lesson ready to go every time I sit down to practice. I lost interest years ago simply because I was tired of playing the same half dozen licks or scales or partial songs that I had taught myself. With the stay at home protocol looming, knowing I may have some free time opening up, I decided to pick up my guitar again. So there I was, again, searching YouTube, rifling through dozens of videos on how to play the same song, but this time I came across Tony’s Acoustic Challenge. I have thoroughly enjoyed Tony’s teaching technique, his patience, (he doesn’t seem to mind when I have to watch one of his instruction videos over and over to grasp what he’s showing me) lol!
And then there’s the TAC community, everyone is so encouraging and helpful, it truly is a fun and safe environment to learn, to hone your skills, to not just learn but to understand the how and why of what you’re learning.
By that I mean, sign up for the fretboard wizard! I’m only one week in on it but I can already tell it’s going to make a huge difference!
Thanks Tony and staff for making learning guitar so easy and so much fun!
