I am loving Tony's Acoustic challenge. I'm working on the 30 days to play guitar module and I am delighted with it. So much fun and I am making progress!!! I'm spending way too much time playing cause it's so fun. Tony has made learning to play my guitar very approachable and has given me hope that I can finally enjoy my guitar. My goal is to play comfortably with others. I actually think I will achieve this and it's because of this fabulous program. Thanks so much Tony!!!

Tony is the most watchable teacher I've found on the Internet. After paying nearly £40 an hour for private lessons, I needed a new plan. Tony's guitar community is it. I signed up for the fretboard wizard course and I'm getting a lot out of that, and the Facebook and YouTube content keeps me going with a sense of purpose.

I’ve played guitar on and off for over 50 Years. TAC and the Fretboard Challenge are giving me the music theory tools I’ve been looking for to better connect the “why” to the”how” to play guitar. And I really enjoy the Guitar Geek community he has created! Guitar Geeks unite!

Have been a member for about 2 weeks. Always have trouble committing money to these things, which is silly since I seem to have no problem looking at and gassing over new guitars (what's owning em if you don't learn em?),, but Tony's kind and personable approach struck me as sincere. Turns out it was, and it's great to be a new part of what feels like a large family, that gets along. Was losing my focus during my practice hours, just playing what makes me feel like I can play, but it was too easy, and too easy to get lazy and sloppy. Finding the lessons right on in terms of challenge, some easy, some quite demanding, but I can tell already that my skills are improving. Finally learning to take it slow and not rush to stadium stardom. Best part, besides the enjoyment of playing is the sense that I am in this with a bunch of like-minded people. Looking forward to moving past this long term borderline intermediate plateau. Great for players of all skill levels, and fun..

I joined TAC just over two weeks ago, and boy I’m glad I did! I was a little sceptical at first when I started watching the Tony's video on youtube, but by the end of the 40 odd minutes, I decided it was worth a punt. I have played on and off for years, but never got past the early intermediate stage, simply because I have never managed to develop and sustain an effective practice routine – well after two weeks, that looks like it’s actually happening! The format is really friendly and it’s great to be able to go on my laptop in the morning and know that I don’t have to make a decision about what I am going to play – it’s all mapped out for me. And invariably I then wind up playing for longer than I intended to. And I’ve found the community support great too – questions answered comprehensively and quickly, and always with the aim of encouraging me to enjoy myself! So thanks to Tony, the crew and all the other TAC members – I seem to be turning into a guitarist!! 😊😊😊

Well the first thing that caught my eye was Tony! I took group classes last fall but the next session doesn’t work for my schedule. I have tried finding some on-line resources & wasn’t drawn in. I really liked how honest all the “pre/orientation” information was presented. Like many of us, when starting something new, there are fits & starts. I am feeling pretty confident I will be able to move through the lessons, feel rewarded & have fun! We all need more of that.

I've been a member now for just 2 weeks and I'm loving it. I've been a working musician since 1992 (about 35-50 gigs per year) playing acoustic covers as a solo performer or with a drummer. I am a self taught guitar player and am better than proficient but my playing was getting stagnant. I know what I'm doing....but, I don't KNOW what I'm doing. LOL. I was looking for a way to educate myself and become a more well rounded player and have fun at the same time. I'm REALLY enjoying my journey so far with TAC. Every day is another lesson and it only takes a short time to be able to get the practice in....but even better.....is all the lessons for the week tie together with an overall focus that really jibes with the way I like to learn. I already feel more confident not only as a player but in my choice to sign up and where I know my playing will be in a very short period of time. :)

An excellent program for someone like me who has all the guitar information via books, videos, and the internet, but had no real clue on how it all went together. The TAC program approach and Tony's focused practice schedule have already made a difference (in only a few weeks) and I feel I'm finally making progress as a guitar player again.
