I have been following Acoustic Tuesday for about 2 years now. During this time I was taking various lessons from a couple of different instructors. These were OK but all seemed to lack structure. They focused on songs and unrelated scales – none of which was getting me very far.
Understand that in November of this year I will be celebrating my 80th birthday. What I do on or with my guitar is just for me. I don't plan on being a star of stage or screen. My guitar learning and playing has to be organized, structured and fun. When I looked at TAC, Tony's 30 Day Challenge, learning the basics with lots of opportunities to improve and and enjoy the guitar, I was hooked and ready for fun..
What I like most about TAC is the clear, step by step teaching method, good video visuals, practice opportunities and tabs. I also love the daily nudges with the technique videos, supported by the Acoustic Life Journal
I believe that beginner guitar players would get a lot out of this series of instruction. I also believe that guitarist like myself who know some stuff, as well as more experienced guitars would benefit greatly from the structure, clarity and consistence of this series of TAC courses.
