I'm newly retired and haven't played guitar in over 15 years...I've finished two weeks of lessons on his program. I really enjoy how the content is designed, accessible to all levels of guitarists, and it's fun. I've hit consistent plateaus in my years of playing but find myself practicing hours per day, and for the first time, enjoying the instrument.
Highly recommend Tony Polecastro method of teaching. He understands what is needed to motivate and overcome frustrations playing a difficult instrument. I've seen more progress in my playing in 2 weeks than any other time in my life....

I love having a new, bite-sized lesson every day when I log in. In just about 10 minutes I really feel that I've done something meaningful to improve my connection to my guitar. The course is beautifully structured and just so damn enjoyable. Very happy about the investment I made in Tony's Acoustic Challenge.

After bouncing around with a myriad of online courses I finally landed on Tony's Acoustic Challenge (TAC) and have found an awesome learning environment that keeps me motivated with daily challenges, a supportive community as well as leader and staff that are amazing.You won't find anything like this online. Trust me, I signed on to many courses and was quickly led astray by any number of things that TAC achieves with style and has an instructor that is amazing as well as the acoustic community involvement. Those things you find on TAC that I found to be lacking in comparison might be: organization, ease of use with the website, in-depth courses, humor and lightheartedness in videos and instruction, an active community forum.For me it's near impossible to stay motivated without ongoing interaction, accountability and above all, results.With TAC I'm getting everything I need from an online course — and then some!

Tony approaches guitar in a methodical manner. Each lesson builds on the previous one so that these lessons make sense. This is not just about playing the guitar, but understanding it as well so you can extrapolate to become a better and knowledgeable player. Great job, Tony!!

I didn't hesitate to sign up for TAC. I knew it was for me. I just wasn't sure if I had the time to invest. I haven't done as many lessons as I wanted to. But, once I settle into it, I know they will be there for me. There is no pressure, only encouragement. When I can't get to my guitar, I do the fretboard wizard lessons. I have actually picked up some theory and it is starting to stick. Tony is an awsome teacher. I have also learned how to finger pick. Untill now, I have never done fingerqicking. I am having fun and look forward to really diving into the lessons.

Tony is a fabulous teacher. The TAC classes are really good. I recently completed the Fret-board Challenge. It was tough for me, being a beginner, but I muscled through. I will probably end up going through some of the lessons again. I recently had a breakthrough as I'm learning power chords. I guess power chords are more of an electric guitar thing (not sure) but learning about the power chords really pieced the music theory together for me. I would definitely recommend the Fret-board challenge if your interested in learning more about music and how it comes together. I would also ask Tony to try and spend some time tying the power chords to the class, it really helped me. Most importantly, as a beginner, i can't imagine picking a better guitar sensei than Tony. Thanks Tony!
