I have spent the last 20 years making small gains in my guitar playing, and feeling like there is so much more potential but not really knowing how to achieve that. I have tried various programs but I've found Tony's instruction videos have given great simple explanations that provide an insight into the gaps in my previous knowledge, or creates connections that I may have subconsciously known but now can use because I am thinking about them. The resource itself is great because you can pick and choose those areas that you want to improve on. It's been a great way to get re-enthused about my playing. Thanks

Been really pleased with the approach Tony takes in teaching the guitar. Start with a warm up exercise and slowly your lead to creating music on the guitar. The whole process of utilizing the technology we have today to bring and share knowledge is very well done through TAC. I am new to the family and looking forward to meeting and playing with my brothers and sisters.

I’ve been a member for 2 weeks and enjoyed the fact that there are so many lessons available and can choose the ones that meet my needs and do them at my speed.

Started the TAC coarse today. I am coming back to guitar after thinking it wasn't for me after spending a lot of money on private lessons and then packing it in a couple of years ago. This summer I realized how much I missed the tranquillity of strumming an acoustic guitar, so I decided to pick it up again, hoping I could become a better guitarist. Tony is a fantastic teacher. I have learnt more in a couple of lessons then I did in months with a private teacher. Most of all I understand the theory behind the lessons as Tony explains as the lessons progress. This is something new to me in guitar. I can't believe how quickly I am progressing through the Blues Shuffle lessons. I am thankful I stumbled onto Tony's web site , looking for lessons on Utube. This coarse is no gimmick, you will learn to play and most of all understand the theory and history behind what you are playing. Thank you Tony, you have created the ultimate platform to learn guitar!

I really like Tony's teaching techniques and I've learned a lot as a beginner, but I get very confused and lost just trying to follow the lesson plans. I recently received a lesson via email about "Hybrid Picking," for example. I was able to watch the introduction but could not figure out where the first lesson was. Can I get some suggestions please?

A few years ago, I started guitar lessons on another website and learned very basic music theory, 16 open chords, many Barre chords, as well as, applied this stuff with play-along videos. For me, it was very effective and I learned a lot. TAC will take me to the next level. Although I have previously learned much of the early Foundation stuff, the exercises are quite different and challenging. TAC exercises really stress working around the fretboard, making fretting more musical and using all of my fingers in the fretting exercises. Another of my goals is fingerstyle, and no other website introduces it from the beginning. The TAC community is a great asset and it really does make me feel included. In the few weeks as a member, my playing ability has improved and I practice a lot more. I am looking forward to the Fretboard Wizard class, and I hope it starts soon. Thank you, Tony!
