This method of training is superb. Tony has a great delivery, really explains things well and is a great guide for people wanting to become better at playing and enjoying their guitars. Worth every penny in MHO.

I have been learning guitar for 3.5 years. I got in a rut and TAC is slowly pulling me out. I used to play the same old stuff two or three times a week now I am playing every day and learning new things

Great if you're wanted to understand guitar theory on the fretboard and a great foundation to build on.

As a vet, and just trying to survive the work a day world I've realized that time is my most precious commodity. Over the years I've lost connection with people, Tony's acoustic challenge won't make you a face melting wizard over night, but his no B.S. straightforward approach to teaching foundation and fun will help you become a better player. I love the humor and Tony's passion for sharing, it helps me to feel connected, and does encourage me to play, and make new connections with other players. I've never played a instrument in my life, but I know good leadership and talent when I see it. If you want to learn how to play guitar this is the real deal, I only started a month ago and have a great foundation done the right way. I can build that foundation and not run out of material or things to learn. I don't believe you could find a better value for your money or time than Tony's acoustic challenge if you spent the next year looking. Cheers, and play on

Tony’s Acoustic is excellent. I have trying to learn to play guitar for a long time but always gave up because i was not satisfied and did not have a guide. When I saw Tony’s ad I hesitated first but after careful scrutiny I found it meaningful so I joined. Just a few weeks now but I can feel progress. I think I will be able to achieve my dream

I would recommend TAC to any beginner or intermediate player. I think I would even recommend it to advanced players, although I'm a relative novice, so I can't say for certain that an advanced player would get enough out of the course. But probably. I was hesitant to join at first because I wasn't certain that I would take the time to get the most benefit from the course, however, since it is somewhat self paced, it doesn't matter if I put a lot of time or a little time - I get out what I put in. I admit that I'm struggling so far to find a good practice pattern that works for me. I find the short daily lessons to be mostly pretty difficult, so I'm not yet able to make it through an entire week where I can at least get through each and all of the lessons. That is partly because I'm also trying to learn and relearn songs so that I can go back to playing Open Mic sessions from which I've taken about a six year hiatus. So, it's hard to do both the lessons and the song practice. And that's further compounded because I'm trying to learn to play electric in the hopes of joining with my old drummer friend in a Tom Petty Tribute band. I think I can handle the vocals adequately, but my electric guitar playing is way behind the curve - even for the Petty rhythm parts. My favorite thing about the site is the Performance section. I posted what I thought was a pretty average song performance and the community was unbelievably supportive. It makes me want to keep trying. So, go for it and sign up. Gregg

I have played for fun on and off for the last 14 years. I can’t carry a tune so I figured I could try and make a guitar sing. I have never tried finger picking so this was one reason I dove in. Also, I like Tony’s humor and his explanation of each lesson. I like that you can go anywhere or even go back at your own pace. I have already seen an improvement but it is like anything you want to get better at, you have to put in the time.
