If I could give ZERO stars I would. I am not one to share reviews, but felt this one was warranted. On 11/28/22 we had Burlington Fireplace come out to service our fireplace. The technician who came out was very pleasant and what I thought was honest. He told me that our fireplace was deemed unusable, and that it would need to be fixed. I asked him how much it would cost to fix it, and he said that the manager would have to get back to me. Which I totally understand. We are now a week and half later, and have heard nothing from them on what the cost would be to fix it. No email, no phone call NOTHING. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I didn't have them sweep/clean the chimney since I was waiting on what the cost would be to fix it. I figured once we got the quote to fix the fireplace we would then just have them do the cleaning as well. The technician said that we would have to be charged a trip charge which I totally understand, but he assured me that the manager would be in contact to let me know what the cost would be to fix the fireplace. When he told me the cost of the trip charge I was shocked. The charge was in my opinion an outrageous amount considering we are a neighboring town to Burlington. Since I still haven't heard from them, I feel like they got just what they wanted which is their MONEY for a trip charge to do absolutely NOTHING. All in a days pay I guess. I would not recommend them to anyone. I am highly disappointed that I still haven't heard anything. I will not be using them in the future, and I definitely will not be recommending them to anyone.
