I called Richard as our boiler had been slowly leaking for a while. I was quite worried as our previous engineer took 4 visits to try and fix it and he miserably failed.
I must say that I was impressed by Richard's ability to find and fix the leak on our boiler within 20 minutes.
I will definitely get him back in for the next service or for any repair.

We have used Pettifer Plumbing & heating 3 times so far. They installed a new boiler in September 2023 and have always attended to emergency work. Appointment system is very good. We can confirm they are very professional. Richard is very precise in his work and always makes sure the space is cleaned once finished.

Had my boiler serviced and new tap fitted. From first contact with the office through email to making the booking all excellent. Modernisation of my Central Heating & Hot Water System.
In just two days Richard and team removed my 30 year old Baxi Boiler from a downstairs chimney breast and installed a Worcester Bosch boiler in the upstairs airing cupboard, extending the gas pipe to this new location and connecting up to the original radiators and water pipes.
The multitude of new pipework in the restricted space of the airing cupboard was very neatly done.
Richard agreed to routing the flue pipe horizontally through the loft to exit through the end wall – requiring working in a rather cramped space. This avoided disturbing my aging slate roof with a roof vent.
Their first job was to lay a protective film over the stair carpet, and all the waste from the works was quickly cleared away.
All this achieved while working with the additional complication of “School Street” traffic restrictions morning and afternoon.
Richard and his team members were very pleasant to work with and were supported by an efficient office team.

Pettifer Plumbing and Heating is an amazing company. They recently installed a Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler at our property after our old boiler packed up. Their quote for the new boiler was very competitive and the installation was very quick (less than a week from the initial quote). On the date of installation, Richard and his team were so helpful and friendly and extremely efficient. They explained everything they were doing and were very clean and tidy. The boiler was also installed in one day so we were not left without hot water and heating. They also called us shortly after the installation to check that everything was working and that we were happy with the installation. Have been using this company now for a couple of years for various plumbing jobs and their work is of a very high standard and they are very honest. Cannot recommend this company highly enough!
