Extremely nice-looking bike shop inside. I absolutely loved the Garmen Unbound Gravel, wallpaper with a muddy gravel bike hanging on the wall, with the event's number plate still on the handlebars, and dirty water bottles still on the bike. I had completed several 100-mile and completed one 200-mile Unbound rides. Only suggestion is they should air the tires up because they were both very flat. The young lady who assisted me was awesome and extremely nice and helpful. She was the only person working in the store. I am still riding my TREK road bike that I bought in 2004, which is still in mint condition. I have competed in several Triathlons with the bike and next week, it will be my fourth RAGBRAI with my TREK bike. I never will sell it, and I have zero desire to buy a new road bike due to the tremendous, sentimental attachment I have from all the memories I have created with my TREK. "There is nothing more enjoyable in life than the simple pleasure of riding a bike." A quote I read on the side of a building as I was riding in the light rail train from the Edinburgh, Scottland airport to downtown Edinburgh.

I stopped by on my way to Unbound needing an emergency adjustment on my rear brake. Christian and the staff saved the day and got me out the door with a fantastic lunch recommendation nearby. They care about bikes here and the store is super cool as well.

We would have preferred to go to a shop closer to Bonner Springs, but none of them were open on Sunday. So, we brought our bikes to Lawrence. Christian was very friendly, and explained the service process. When it was determined that one of bikes was going to need additional parts, we were disappointed because we had been told the problem was a recall. Lizzie took care of us. When we came in to pick up the bikes, we were expecting to have to negotiate the bill. But no. The bill was as what we were originally told, and once again, the person who checked us out was super friendly. We were shocked. Bikes have never been better, and we will be back! Worth the drive to Lawrence!

Christian and the entire crew have been very helpful with all of my bicycle needs. They're very involved in the bicycling community to help wherever needed. You're not just a customer at the Lawrence Trek store, you're family.

I brought my bike in an hour before closing and Christian did everything he could to get me up and running right away. He kept his attention locked in, almost like it offended him to see a bike not working as well as it could. He told me that with the right care, my bike could be a forever bike. That stuck with me. But it’s not just Christian I appreciate, it’s the whole store and every employee I’ve interacted with. I always feel confident in my purchases. When I’ve had issues, they’ve provided immediate remedies, no hesitation. The advice is always free, the support is constant, and the respect is real. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back, not just for the gear, but for the people.
