I finally found a place (online) that sells waterbed insert mattresses. We have a very nice waterbed frame with the drawers underneath that we didn't want to get rid of. I chatted online with Doug a little bit and he suggested that I call to get more information. So I did and we talked for 1/2 hour, at least. He answered all my questions, gave me lots of information about the mattress I was looking at and about their company. He was great! I talked it over with my husband over the weekend and called to place our order on Monday morning. I spoke with Michael and he was very helpful also. He said it would take about 2 weeks to get the mattress, he emailed the tracking info and the mattress was delivered the following Friday! We got it set up in our bed frame, it fit perfectly and are very happy with it. The firmness is similar to our old mattress insert and sits a little higher in the frame than the old one did, which Doug said it would. It's very comfortable and great for my husband's bad back! Thank you to Doug and Michael for your help and expertise and I/we would definitely recommend STL beds!

My sister has very specific needs. Doug very patiently and consultatively helped us understand how to determine her requirements. He also arranged white-glove delivery which was essential to support her situation. The delivery was smooth and there were no surprises.
I highly recommend STL if you need a customized sleeping solution.

I am blown away by the service I received today at STL Beds. I placed an order through Amazon for a bed frame support from STL. Within a few minutes of placing the Amazon order I received a text from Michael at STL letting me know he saw my Amazon order and wanted to make sure that their product would fit my needs. He offered for me to text or to call him. I have never before had a manufacturer follow-up like that on an Amazon order. I called him and we determined that what I had ordered would work, but probably require me to drill some additional holes in my existing metal frame. We decided that I should send him some pics of my frame so he could see exactly what I am dealing with. He called me back and told me that he had supports that were made for my exact bed and that he suggested that we change the order. He sent me photos that showed the instructions and what they look like. His colleague joined the call on speaker and they both said they would only charge me the amount of my original order even those these custom supports were more expensive. I told them that I felt like a had traveled in a Time Machine back to the days of amazing customer service. His colleague said that his father started the business decades ago and believed that, if they were going to sell their products online, they were going to give the same level of customer service as they do to their in-store patrons. They get my highest recommendation. Thank you STL Beds for the outstanding service and the great feeling that went with it.

I have an antique bedroom suite that belonged to my wife's grandfather. As expected, full size bedframe and headboard/footboard that gets hidden by today's high top mattresses. Plus, I don't understand how two people ever found room to sleep on full sized beds?
The full-to-queen drop frame conversion frame corrected both problems, and was simple to install.
I had trouble with FedEx delivery. STL Beds shipped the day after my order! The unit arrived at my city's distribution center two days later, where it sat, and sat, and sat. After eight days of sitting at the distribution center, I contacted Mike at STL Beds and shared my problem with FedEx not delivering my product. Two days later I got a replacement.
I couldn't be happier with the product, and equally important, STL Beds' prompt handling of a problem that was not their fault. Can't say the same about FedEx shipping and support.
