My (very large) tiled shower looks brand new, after having Mrs. Grout out to my house recently (We have used this service before, for bathroom floors and a shower floor.)
In addition to the shower, we also had the master bath floor and laundry floor done. Sam was our tech and she did a great job, efficiently and quickly. She even moved our washer and dryer and did the grout behind them.

Your company delivered everything it promised yesterday, when your team member Vanessa turned my well-worn tile shower into what now looks like a NEWLY tiled one!!! Not only that, but she was the epitome of.courtesy and professionalism, and makes an art of her work, with perfectionism in every detail. I was expecting to experience a bit of a mess and noise and intrusion in the process, and instead had a lovely day with a good book and my dog while I stayed at home as she quietly worked without even stopping to accept a quick refreshment from me! My shower with years of dried hard water staining and soap scum now looks brand new. No exaggeration. This company knows what their doing. I had the shower rejuvenation package, a multi step process, which literally and honestly has transformed my shower into a brand new shower. I also had the tub/shower combination in another bathroom thoroughly cleaned, re-grouted where needed and a silicon caulking applied. Again, same amazing results. This is an all women company. These ladies are professional, friendly and very well trained. Truly, the ladies of Mrs. Grout do amazing work which gives you amazing results. I think Sam did a very nice job. But when she handed me her phone to approve the payment, the first screen was asking for a tip. I was appalled and offended that I was asked.
Don’t misunderstand, Sam was professional, polite and did a good job. I just think it’s wrong to ask for a tip. I didn’t ask Sam to go above and beyond her job, I feel she did her job and I shouldn’t tip her for doing her job. Good employees should be paid by their employer for doing a good job, through pay raises or bonus.
The quote we receive I felt was a little on the high side but I was willing to pay more to receive good quality work. I was not expecting to pay even more for a tip.
I just feel tipping today has gotten way out of line.
