Welcome to EmbedSocial! This guide walks you through creating your account, choosing how to start, and logging in for the first time. It takes just a couple of minutes, and by the end you will be inside your dashboard, ready to connect your first source.

## Create your account and log in

2. Choose how you want to start. The **Free plan** is free to use for as long as you need, with limited sources and settings. The **7-day free trial** includes all features so you can test everything before you decide (card verification is required to start it, [here's why](/docs/billing/trial/)).
3. Log in to your account anytime at [embedsocial.com/admin/login](/admin/login).

## Get to know your dashboard

After you log in, two tabs matter most for your first steps:

-   The '**Sources**' tab. This is where you connect the social media accounts and review platforms you want to pull content from.

-   The '**Widgets**' tab. This is where you create and design the widgets that display your content on your website.

You can also monitor your monthly usage anytime. In the bottom-left corner of your account you will find your current widget views:

## FAQ

**Q: Why do you ask for a card verification on a free trial?**
