Once you're done adding reviews, go to **'Create widget'** and your widget will be successfully created.

## Import reviews from a spreadsheet

The EmbedSocial app allows you to easily import your current reviews that you have saved in a spreadsheet or reviews you have downloaded from third-party platforms. Once you do this, you can display them in a widget on Duda.

To import reviews, you will need to make sure your reviews are structured in a spreadsheet according to the following guidelines:

### Import reviews file specification

The **Reviews Import** tool accepts data in [comma-separated values (CSV)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comma-separated_values) file format. The first row of the template or data file contains column headings. Each subsequent row corresponds to a custom review that needs to be imported.

You can upload a maximum of **500** reviews in one file. Download the template file [here](/downloads/reviews_template.csv).

**Columns:**

`name`, `review_date`, `rating`, `review_text`, `email`, `tags`, `custom_link`, `reviewer_photo_url`

-   `name`: Reviewer name

- `review_date`: You can choose the date format

-   `rating`: Number 1 to 5

-   `review_text`: Review text

-   `email`: Reviewer email

-   `tags`: Review tags, comma-separated

- `custom_link`: Individual Review link. This link will take precedence over the source link

-   `reviewer_photo_url`: Reviewer photo URL

Required columns are `name`, `review_date`, and `rating`. The other columns may be empty, but they must be comma-separated

**Import the reviews spreadsheet in EmbedSocial app**

Once you have your reviews spreadsheet structured as the guidelines above, you can go to your EmbedSocial app and just upload this file.

To do this, just follow the steps:

1\. Go to **'Sources' page** and click '**Add source**' and look for the option **'Custom reviews'**

2\. Once you are redirected to a new page click on 'Import reviews' button

3\. Choose where the **Uploaded file** to populate the reviews (1st field), and select the date format that you use in the CSV file (2nd field):

That’s it!

Now the imported reviews will show in the selected source and you can use them to create a widget that you can show on Duda.

Here is the [embed steps](#embed-a-widget-in-duda) for displaying imported reviews in Duda.

## Customize the reviews widget

You can customize your reviews widget layouts by going into the **"Layout"** drop-down menu on the left-hand side of the widget and choosing one of the several layout options.

Whenever you make changes, make sure to click '**Save**' in the top-right corner (screenshot above).

If you like to change the number of columns so that you can specify how many reviews are shown in one row, go to:

Layout-> General settings-> Columns, and here you can choose the exact number of columns for Desktop and for Mobile view.

More customization options can be found in the next drop-down menu **'Feed'** such as reviews on the page, show media logo, date and choose colors, and many more.

Additional customization can be made with the Custom CSS section and you can learn more about this in the following article: [Add custom CSS](#add-custom-css).

## Pin and prioritize reviews

In this tutorial, we will show you how to pin and make reviews in the widget to be displayed by defined order by specifying priority numbers in Duda.

### How to pin a review?

A pin is an option that provides you with full control over which reviews should display first no matter what are the other ordering settings in the widget.

To pin a review just follow the steps below.

1. Open one of your **widgets**

2. Click on the **Moderation** tab

3. In the table click **Pin** next to the review you want to be displayed first

![](https://embedsocial.com/images/docs/6259690/1.png)

Now the pinned review will always be first in your reviews widget, not getting into consideration other ordering settings that you have specified in the Settings options.

### How to order reviews by priority?

If you want to have full control of the order of the reviews that are displayed in your widget, you can use the Priority option and add order numbers to the reviews. With this option, you can set 20 reviews to display in the order by priority.

Here is how to make a custom order of the reviews in your reviews widget:

1. Open one of your widgets

2. Click on the **Moderation** tab

3. In the priority column, set the **priority** number for each review

![](https://embedsocial.com/images/docs/6259690/2.png)

For example, you can add from 1 to 20 priority numbers for the reviews you want to display as the first 20 in the specified order in the reviews widget.

## Add custom CSS

In this article, we will share an example of CSS that you can use for your feeds in EmbedSocial. The idea with the Custom CSS option is to give you entire flexibility to make sure the design of the social media feed fits with your website branding and layout.

In this example, we are changing the CSS of the **Title background color:**

### Example of custom CSS code:

#es-header .es-header-avatar {
border-radius: 40px;
margin-right: 5px;
margin-bottom: 2;
object-fit: cover;
}
.table-cell {
vertical-align: middle;
display: table-cell;
float: none;
background-color: #03FCF4;
}

Here is the change:

![](https://embedsocial.com/images/docs/5646596/1.png)

### How to apply the custom CSS to the feed:

Just open the Custom CSS drop-down menu on the left side of the widget. Here, just add the changes of the above CSS tags, and click Preview to see how the changes look.
