Great quiet place to unwind and enjoy Fiji. The atmosphere is very tribe-like with simple but tasty and nutritious food options and staff (especially John) that go the extra mile to check in and make sure everything is going ok.
The location is a bit isolated which contributes to the quietness but also means some walking is needed to get to other amenities. The beach is about 10 minutes away and accessable from the road so long as you don't mind walking past some grazing cattle. Nadi is about a 50 minute walk away. I found the walks enjoyable and the people I met were always very friendly as is typical in Fiji. The resort also provides transportation including to Port Denarau. It seemed like all the shuttles for day trips / activities are available to pick people up at the hotel as well.
Having stayed at quite a few locations in the area I found this one to be a bit of a hidden gem considering the price and was a great way to wind down before leaving Fiji
