A truly stunning location and island and overall a wonderful stay. We adored our beautiful bure - very spacious with a comfortable bed and beautiful outdoor shower. The meals were really delicious - the breakfast and lunch are more casual (so many great options) and the dinner is more formal (amuse-bouche and palate cleanser included). We found the quality and variety to be excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful and there are many special touches you will notice around the resort. It is a smaller resort which makes for a more intimate feel. We went in May and the resort wasn't full which made having the beautiful pool to yourself or a lounge on the beach a frequent possibility. During our stay the weather caused rough seas and therefore we were unable to swim or snorkel for the first few days of our visit (we did get to snorkel on the other side - you can ask the resort if the village gives you permission for this). There were several miscommunications in terms of activities. Certain activities began late, others left without us before the advertised start time and after we had signed up. Other activities we couldn't find where they were taking place. The dive shop would close before night snorkelling but wouldn't put a sign to say if it is happening or not. We found some things such as the church visit a bit strange as we arrived to the church 45 minutes prior to the service and sat in the pews in an empty church slightly confused for 45 minutes. We would have preferred to explore the village in this time or to arrive closer to the time of the service. Also, when we went to pay nothing had been included in the bill for the activities we had done, so we had to let them know about all of this so they could charge us. The people who run/manage the activities are all absolutely lovely, but could just do with some better organisation & communication.

Such a nice place! The beach was beautiful and the staff very nice. Food is amazing! 9 courses for dinner. Unfortunately wasn’t able to snorkel due to high waves. Would definitely come back. One of the nicest resorts I stayed in Fiji!
