I cannot think of a single thing that would have improved our stay at Octopus. We (mom, dad, two teenage kids) just spent Christmas there. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and our Family Beachfront Bure was well stocked and clean. We had neighbors but they were mostly out of sight and sound - the area around the bure felt private. It was perfect. The outdoor shower was a dream. The food was great. The activities were wonderful - we did weaving and coconut demos, snorkeling adventures. My family went on the Mountain Hike and said it was hard work but very worth it. The entire resort was kept tidy. Communication making our trip happen was excellent. The shuttle from the airport to the marina, and the fast (bit bumpy!) ride on the resort boat were well organized. I was hoping it would be as pretty as the pictures - it was better! Beautiful resort in beautiful surroundings!

We stayed at one of the ocean front family bures and it was an amazing experience. We would just step out and start snorkeling along the reef. The bure gave a unique experience with outdoor shower and toilet. The staff at the resort are really wonderful from house keeping to restaurant, the manager Alfie and assistant manager. We are truly lucky to have celebrated our daughter’s birthday there on Christmas. They had a family style dinner with Christmas carols and Alfie and the staff surprised us with a birthday cake and song. The resorts have a lot of free and paid activities in a day. We did the day hike to a peak near by and it was an amazing experience. We also did the tubing and tunes in the ocean. Highly recommend these activities. Just be careful with small kids as the activities might be sold as easy to do for everyone.
