We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room so it was perfect for a shower and sleep at the end of the day.
Pool is basic but nice. Loungers all around which is nice too. We spent a great deal of time by the pool. The hotel isn’t far from the beach. If you walk 10 minutes down the road you will find the beach that a lot of the locals swim at. There are other entry points along the way too.
Morning breakfast is a surprise, you never know what you’re going to get but it’s mostly pretty basic. Fresh fruit, toast, baked beans and sometimes eggs. I thought the food overall was pretty good although we were mostly out on trips during dinner time so only ate there once.
Staff are very friendly and accomodating and happy to have a laugh with you. If you need anything (like extra towels etc) they are quick to get it sorted.
Easy to get a taxi from. People at the desk will happily arrange a taxi for you. Taxi is roughly $10 Fijian into Nadi town centre (depending on taxi drivers mood) and about $20-30 Fijian to port Denarau (again, depending on the taxi driver).
Overall great place to stay for the price. Especially if you are just wanting a home base.
