MURPHY and MARLA- Black semi long coated brother and sister aged four years old when they came back into our care on 12.02.17 after previously being adopted as kittens. Sadly their owners were moving abroad and were unable to take them. Both are quite shy and timid but have been used to living with children.Would suit a quieter home and need to be homed together.
FROSTY - Short haired white neutered male born on 01.03.08. Frosty came into our care on 09.02.16 from another rescue centre after his previous owner moved away. Frosty is quite nervous of new people and takes time to adjust to new environments. Since he arrived he has continued to come out of his shell and is gradually starting to enjoy human contact again. Needs an experienced home where he can continue to thrive.
BOOTS - Short haired black and white castrated male, previously adopted from us as a kitten and sadly returned on 23.04.17 aged two years old. BOOTS had been involved in a road traffic accident requiring the amputation of his tail and his owners felt unable to continue looking after him.Very friendly and affectionate. Please call the centre for more details..
MATILDA - Long haired tabby female found as a stray and arriving into our care on 30.03.17 via a local vets, when she was estimated as approximately five years old. We have no idea how long Matilda has been a stray for, but she was in a fairly poor state when she arrived, requiring a complete de-matt, treatment for an old leg injury and ear infection. Very timid and shy, she needs an experienced cat home where she can continue her recuperation. Not suitable in a home with children or other pets
MATILDA HAS NOW BEEN HOMED.
BALLOO and KISSY - Semi long haired tabby/white castrated male and short haired white/black spayed female found living together as strays and brought into our care on 03.09.17 when they were estimated to be approximately two years old. Very attached and need to be homed together with KISSY relying on BALLOO as she is more timid than him.
KIT KAT- Short haired spayed tabby/white female aged one year when she was admitted to the Trust on 12.08.17 after the arrival of her previous owner's new baby. Initially very shy and takes time to trust new people. Will not live with other cats or dogs and not young children.
THOMAS - Short haired ginger and white castrated male. One of our older residents aged 15 years old when he came into our care on 05.08.17 after his previous owner sadly passed away. THOMAS is not keen on other cats and will love a fuss and attention when he wants it. Being an older cat he has recently started to show signs of arthritis and is therefore on daily medication to help ease his joints. Would love to find a quiet home where he can spend the rest of his retirement.
LEO - Short haired tabby and white castrated male aged between ten years and twelve years when he came into our care on 27.09.17. LEO had been living as a 'stray' for many years and being cared for by various people, after his previous owners abandoned him when they moved home. He is very friendly and affectionate but is frightened of dogs. LEO has recently been diagnosed as hyperthyroid and therefore needs a tablet daily to help control his condition.
SAM - Black and white short haired castrated male aged approximately eight to ten years old when he came into our care on 08.09.17 after being found by a member of the public in a very poor condition. Now fully recovered he has started to 'come out of his shell' and is enjoying life again. Seems to prefer to be the only cat and is proving to be very affectionate.
CHARLIE - Short haired dark tabby and white neutered male who was found by the side of the road after being hit by a car. Fortunately he was 'rescued' by a passing motorist who took him straight to a local vets. After initial treatment he came into our care on 25.08.17 when he was estimated as being approximately eighteen months old. After further treatment and many weeks of cage rest Charlie has recovered well from his ordeal but does still have a weakness in one of his legs. Very gentle and good natured, he will make a wonderful companion and so deserves a new loving home after all he has been through.. Please call the centre for more details.
LOTTIE - Short haired tortoiseshell and white spayed female aged approximately three years old when she was found as a stray giving birth to kittens in the street. Sadly all her kittens died but Lottie made a full recovery. Unfortunately she is not good with other cats and would not suit a home with children as she can be a bit particular at times with who she likes and doesn't like. She therefore needs an experienced home where she will be accepted for who she is and can live her life on her terms.
LOTTIE HAS NOW BEEN HOMED.
CELESTE and SKYE - Slightly longer haired black and white spayed sisters aged approximately five weeks old when they were found with their siblings and mother on 21.07.17 by a member of the public who brought them straight into our care. Mum and siblings have all found new homes, but Celeste and Skye, due to being quieter and more reserved have yet to be given that chance. Ideally need to be homed together as they have formed a strong bond.
