. 　⁡ Nanamica launches limited edition of sustainable fleece in collaboration with PRISTINE nanamica pristine_official もともと「フリース」とは、現在多く出まわっているポリエステルを使用したものではなく、1頭分の刈り取られた羊の毛が絡み合い、1枚のシート状になったもの。PRISTINEが開発したフリースは、表側にウール、内側にオーガニックコットンと、天然繊維のみで作られています。天然繊維100％ながらふわふわと柔らかく、しっかりと目の詰まったあたたかい生地が特徴です。ウールを使用した生地こそが本物のフリースという考え方のもと、PRISTINEではこれを「リアルフリース」と呼んでいます。 また、ウール用に飼育されている子羊の臀部などの皮膚を切り落とし羊に苦痛をあたえる「ミュールジング」を避け、自然なままに飼育された羊から刈り取った「ノンミュールジング・ウール」を採用。 ポリエステルのフリースは洗濯により化学繊維が抜け落ち海に流れ出ていったマイクロプラスチックが、海中を汚染するだけでなく、やがて食物連鎖や空気中にも悪影響を及ぼすことが近年問題となっていますが、このリアルフリースは天然繊維100%のため、洗濯時にマイクロプラスチックが流れ出る心配もありません。 "Real fleece" originally refers to a material made from wool sheared from a single sheep, where the wool fibers are entangled and form a sheet; not the polyester-based fleece that is widely available today. The fleece developed by PRISTINE is made entirely from natural fibers, with wool on the outside and organic cotton on the inside. Even though it is 100% natural fiber, it is characterized by a soft, fluffy texture and a warm, tightly woven fabric. Based on the idea that fabric made from wool is the authentic fleece, PRISTINE refers to this as "real fleece." Additionally, non-mulesed wool is used, which means avoiding the painful practice of cutting off the skin around the hindquarters of sheep bred for wool. Instead, the wool is sheared from sheep that are raised naturally. Polyester fleece releases microplastics, which fall off during washing and flow into the ocean, polluting not only the water but also negatively impacting the food chain and air, which has become a growing issue in recent years. The stand collar jacket uses a zipper made from recycled polyester, ensuring that the materials used are as sustainable as possible.
