Since 1937, Tricker’s Bourton has stood as a symbol of English craftsmanship, heritage, and timeless style.
Handmade entirely in-house in our Northampton factory, Bourton honours nearly two centuries of shoemaking tradition. Each pair is bench-made using the finest materials, fully stitched, and Goodyear welted - a construction method that ensures longevity and repairability, making Bourton a shoe that is built to last a lifetime.
From countryside strolls to city streets, weddings, and even red-carpet events, Bourton has evolved into a global icon. Equally at home with denim, tweed, or chinos, it’s a must-have for those who value heritage, quality, and character.
The Bourton is crafted on the iconic 4444 last, designed for the coronation of King George VI. As it runs large by approximately half a size, we recommend sizing down. For example, if you usually wear a size 9, a size 8.5 is suggested for a better fit.
Our Original collection is available in Acorn Antique, Black, Marron Antique, Espresso Burnished, and C-Shade.
