Una donna, che non ha mai amato le piante, vede nascere nel suo giardino un bellissimo fiore bianco, e se ne innamora. Si prende cura di lui ogni giorno, e man mano che il tempo passa, vede nascere altri fiori bianchi simili a lui, e ne è felice. Col passare del tempo però, iniziano ad appassire, fino a scomparire del tutto. La donna aspetta a lungo il loro ritorno, ma un giorno li vede fiorire non più nel suo giardino, ma in quello accanto.
Una metafora sul senso dell’amore e sulla sua fuggevolezza, che lo rende ancora più prezioso quando c’é.
