More Panda 4x4 than roadbikes, but still little traffic on this route. The Möltner Plateau is so enjoyable to ride, and lunch at the leadner_alm is a real highlight. They cook exclusively with seasonal and regional ingredients, mostly sourced from nearby farms — many of which you‘ll pass along the way. Next to the famous climbs around Merano, there are lesser known roads — sometimes with a little spice, sometimes effortlessly flowing. This is FREEDL roadbike territory: where every climb rewards you with silence, every descent feels like freedom, and every coffee stop is pure dolce club feeling. The first route: MERANO - VERDINS - OBERKIRN - TALL AND BACK VIA PASSEIERTAL 36km, 1.250 hm, 2h-3h The view at the top is breathtaking.
