Next to the famous climbs around #Merano, there are lesser known roads — sometimes with a little spice, sometimes effortlessly flowing. This is FREEDL roadbike territory: where every climb rewards you with silence, every descent feels like freedom, and every coffee stop is pure dolce club feeling.
The 3rd route:
LANA — ULTENTAL VIA ST. HELENA — WEISSBRUNN AND BACK
82 km, 2.400 hm, 4h-5h
Each turn opens another layer of the Ultental Valley
until Weißbrunnsee appears – clear, cold, and a deep, vibrant green.
Ending with a FREEDL at pfefferlechner is almost part of the route.
What begins as a road from Lana becomes a passage into altitude. The Ultental holds the kind of silence that makes every climb feel endless and essential.
