Meticulously designed through extensive studies and experimentation, our flexible-wooden sole is the culmination of unwavering dedication to pursue innovation while nurturing our traditions. Our sole combines ethically-sourced, FSC-certified beech wood with a repurposed rubber compound containing 62.5% recycled EVA and is conceived to be extremely comfortable and durable, capable of absorbing shocks and vibrations and ensuring proper foot thermoregulation. #WUDSHOES

The material aspect is paramount for WUD, and our flexible-wooden sole is a celebration of our continuous effort to explore new possibilities blending functional design elements with anatomical solutions. Our wood is dried to a moisture content below 20% to increase its resistance during use. It is then cut and shaped to accommodate the flexible insert made of recycled rubber and milled to give the sole an anatomical shape. #WUDSHOES
