BERGHAUS ICONS KESANG BALL IN MERA PEAK — Kesang Ball is an explorer and co-founder of trippin.world. Her work is driven by reshaping the travel industry through cultural awareness and empowering a global community of diverse voices who are shaping contemporary culture and the outdoors, weaving deeper narratives into the fabric of exploration. Half Tibetan and half Scottish, the outdoors have always been a place she feels at home. Ready for an action-packed weekend at kendalmountainfestival 2024 ⛰️. Film 🎥. At Brewery Arts, two fantastic films premiere on Friday. At 15:00, ‘Alpha’ with edjackson8, drniallmccann, darrenedwards_adventurer and director mattpycroft. At 17:30, strap in for ‘Asgard Raw’ with leo_houlding and waldo_etherington. Both films are followed by panel discussions, presented by miriam.dobson. Speaker Sessions 🎤. At the GORE-TEX Bothy Stage on Saturday afternoon, Leo Houlding talks all things travel, ‘van schooling’, exploration and life ‘off road’ with stories from the Houlding family’s year of adventures. On Sunday at 12:00, join Berghaus experts, Alice Sainsbury and Ed Jackson for a session all about the journey of Berghaus Adapts. Community Hike 🥾. No lie-ins on Sunday morning as hiked.up and millimetres2mountains host a hike around Kendal at 09:30. Resident M2M Qigong practitioner qigongwitharron will also provide guided grounding and breathwork elements along the way. Basecamp ⛺ Come and meet our festival team, athletes and special guests at the stand including 360expeditions who will be sharing stories from their latest adventures. Happy hour completes Saturday’s line-up from 6pm-7pm with drinks ’on-the-haus’ courtesy of fellbrewery.
