In the last months we’ve been asked by atelier_vm to create something special as a scenario for their jewelry 💍 📚 So we create these pop up books in unique copy: handmade on a “Concertina Cilena” bases, these works contain surreal worlds in a Christmas atmospheres, serving as architectures for rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Last expedition, which needed 6 months of preparation, with name code “Eastern Explorers V” has been one of the best total project we’ve ever done! 📚 🌏 It took us in Asia in a total journey of 4300 km by train, boat and plane in South Korea, China, Taiwan and Japan, including a passage through Yellow Sea 🌊 at 37th parallel north between Incheon and Weihai 🚢 👉🏻 With 304 handmade books, sketchbooks and pop up books + the exploration zines made with legends 🤝 5x_letterpress sc__nc spazienne 📓 sold during unlimited_edition_seoul 🇰🇷 taipeiartbookfair 🇹🇼 and tokyoartbookfair 🇯🇵 + the talk in Shanghai 🇨🇳 at archipelago_books 🏭, it was definitely a success! 💎 All this wouldn’t have been possible without the help of lunifatto 🫶 and the very precious support of ink_spoon pan.gu rinakosonobe02 ✨ 🥰 It was a pleasure met old friends and meeting new people!
