In 2009, we promised to take responsibility for our environmental impact. It started with offsetting all our CO₂ emissions through biogas projects in India. But we knew early on: real change also means reducing, not just compensating. So, we got to work. We rethought how we design, how we produce, and what we use. In 2022, it paid off: by switching to recycled aluminium and using green energy, we reduced the carbon footprint of our aluminium profiles by 65%. To put that into perspective: making one Secrid Miniwallet today creates about the same emissions as a quarter of a T-shirt Change doesn’t happen all at once.
