In this series, we’re delighted to highlight some of the special, distinctive stores around the world stocking Inis Meáin, many of whom we have been working with for decades.
Around 12 years ago we first met Uli and Andrew of Dicks at Pitti Uomo in Florence and it quickly became clear that we were both on the same journey to bring exciting new design and quality to our customers. In 2016 Uli and Andrew visited Inis Meáin staying at Inis Meáin Island Stays, our family hospitality business on the island, gaining a deeper understanding of the unique culture of our location, and our aim to reinvent that heritage in a new way while never straying too far from our roots.
dicksedinburgh is a beautifully curated store in the New Town of Edinburgh, Scotland since 2012, bringing together a considered collection of menswear, womenswear, accessories and homewares. Working with small, independent manufacturers, both established and emerging, who specialise in their craft and share a common philosophy of quality and longevity. Dick's is one of the only stores in the world continually stocking the Inis Meáin Mens, Womens and Accessories Collections for both Autumn / Winter and Spring / Summer.
