Inis Meáin Specialist Retailer Series:
GREY FLANNEL – LONDON
In this series, we’re delighted to highlight some of the special, distinctive stores around the world stocking Inis Meáin, many of whom we have been working with for decades.
First up is Grey Flannel, the longest standing independent menswear boutique on Chiltern Street, informing men on what to wear since 1974. The founder of Grey Flannel, Richard Froomberg was one of London’s independent retail pioneers, scouring the globe to source special goods for his customers. Grey Flannel was one of the first stores to introduce brands like Armani, Stone Island, C.P Company and indeed Inis Meáin, to London. Now retired, Richard has passed the torch to renowned tailor, Timothy Everest MBE, to continue the legacy of Grey Flannel, with the addition of bespoke and made to measure services, while General Manager Max Halton and the long-standing team continue Richard’s legacy of advising some of London’s best dressed men.
We are happy to celebrate 35 years of Inis Meáin and Grey Flannel’s collaboration at the Chiltern Street store tomorrow Thursday 28th of November 6pm-8pm, RSVP to greyflannel1974.
