Today, we celebrate the birthday of our visionary founder, Robert Joffrey! ⁠ ⁠ Born in 1930, Robert Joffrey’s passion for dance and innovation revolutionized the ballet world. In 1953, he founded the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City, creating a space where artistry, creativity, and diversity could thrive. His groundbreaking vision brought ballet to new audiences, blending classical technique with contemporary influences.⁠ ⁠ From humble beginnings to a global legacy, we are honored to carry forward the artistry and spirit of Robert Joffrey’s work. The Joffrey Concert Group is delighted to present our highly anticipated Spring 2025 performance, In My Art, a celebration of artistry, creativity, and innovation in dance. Are you a beginner, or adult dancer, looking for additional training? Joffrey Ballet School offers two Basic Beginner Ballet OPEN CLASSES every week!⁠ ⁠ The Basic Beginner Ballet class is designed for adults who have a passion and desire to learn ballet but have no prior dance experience. These classes provide a welcoming and friendly environment, with individualized instruction and attention.
