LECTURES & WORKSHOPS 🌾 At Tenuta San Carlo, Ariane shares insights on sustainable food and farming through lectures and workshops, drawing on over a decade of organic farming experience. Topics include U.S. vs. European food policies, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable practices. The farm also hosts workshops with partners on themes like kimchi-making, breadmaking, and regenerative techniques in Tuscany. DM for more details on group visits!

The beach is just a short bike ride from the farm center. The coastal plants that protect the shoreline, a habitat for migratory birds, glow beautifully during the magic sunset hour. 🌊

In his December newyorkermag article, “The Secret History of Risotto,” Anthony Lane writes that the “risotto laws” are made to be bent—and we couldn’t agree more. Inspired by a dish he savored at Bottega Vini anticabottegadelvino in Verona, we made risotto all’Amarone. 🍷

Our family has cared for this land and come to deeply understand it by living through many seasons together over the course of four generations. 🌾

Closing out the year with lunch at Erba Brusca erbabrusca with braised and charred leek risotto with pink pepper and lemon. 🍋
