In the fields where Ebano — our new black rice — grows, an ancient insect hovers above the water: la libellula rossa — the red dragonfly. Our fields are hosts to birds, amphibians, reptiles and thousands of insects like the red dragonfly. She is a symbol of biodiversity, regeneration, and the health of our land. Her delicate dance accompanies the growth of our organic rice, cultivated with intention and care for our environment. 🌾

LECTURES & WORKSHOPS 🌾 At Tenuta San Carlo, Ariane shares insights on sustainable food and farming through lectures and workshops, drawing on over a decade of organic farming experience. Topics include U.S. vs. European food policies, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable practices. The farm also hosts workshops with partners on themes like kimchi-making, breadmaking, and regenerative techniques in Tuscany. DM for more details on group visits!
