These areas are used in the daily ‘shipping forecast’ to identify sea and wind conditions, which, since 1867 has used the Beaufort Scale to warn shipping of extreme weather. The first 3 instalments of the collection celebrate the coastal waters surrounding Scotland, and as such have been created in collaboration with celebrated Scottish perfumer Euan McCall.
