An evening steeped in conversation, craft, and the quiet poetry of cloth.
At@thesloaneclub during londoncraftweek, reallywildclothing hosted a beautifully intimate gathering in celebration of Tweed on Screen — tracing tweed’s journey from heritage cloth to cinematic icon.
The evening was guided by Nadja Swarovski, alongside Lydia Slater, Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar, and costume designer Anna Mary Scott Robbins of Downton Abbey. Together, they explored the enduring language of tweed — its presence in storytelling, its character on screen, and its quiet authority within fashion and film.
For Kynoch, tweed is never static. It carries memory, landscape, and craft within its weave, yet continually finds new expression in contemporary design. Moments such as these echo that duality — where tradition is not preserved in stillness, but reinterpreted through dialogue and imagination.
A shared appreciation for cloth that endures, evolves, and continues to shape the stories we choose to tell.
