I went back and forth between Blue Lagoon Beach Resort (BLR) and Oarsman Bay Lodge (OBL) for a week, due to lack of availability. This gave me the opportunity to try both services and different types of rooms, summing up: they are both excellent, but there are differences: I found BLR much more commercial, but not in a bad way, on the other hand OBL is a bit more wild and chill, closer to Fijian life style for the more adventurous. Both locations allow you to choose between Dorms and Private Vilas (in case of BLR some Vilas with shared bathrooms), if you are staying more than a couple of nights, no question about it: choose a Vila with a private Bathroom! In both places you have reasonable food, considering we are on an island with no roads or ports, both chefs do their best, but in this area BLR takes the win, many more options and portions are bigger, but it doesn't have cake for the afternoon tee like OBL, that makes a difference. There is not much to do on the island apart from getting some sun, snorkeling and rest, I only tried a paid activity, visiting the Caves, it was a flop, not worth it.

We stayed in Blue Lagoon Resort for 3 days and let me start by saying that this place is top-notch! The service here is seriously exceptional, like, mind-blowing. From the moment we arrived, the staff was all over us, making sure we had everything we needed. They were incredibly helpful, like seriously, they went above and beyond. And let's talk about the location, man. It couldn't be better. We were surrounded by beautiful scenery and breathtaking views. It was like paradise, you know? Oh, and the food!Absolutely delicious. It is all inclusive resort. Again the staff, they are so amazing. They even surprised us by singing for our anniversary. It was such a heartwarming gesture, and I wanna give them a big shoutout and thank them for making our stay even more special. Overall, we had an amazing time at this resort. The combination of exceptional service, stunning location, amazingly helpful staff, and great food made our stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a place to kick back, relax, and enjoy yourself, this is definitely the spot to be. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
