Had a magical few days at the resort. We had to make a last-minute move from another resort in a different island with no air conditioning (and it was hot). Blue Lagoon kindly accommodated us for same-day booking. We hopped onto the Yasawa Flyer cruise and arrived at our beautiful, spacious beachfront villa with AC and really cool outdoor bathroom. Can’t image we just booked it a few hours before we arrived. The service was attentive and the food was amazing. We had multiple really good 5-course a la cart dinners and an on-the-table Indian curry buffet. Guests can choose whether to sit on a large table with other guests, or sit on our own table. We’re introverts so we kept sitting by ourselves, but in retrospect it’d be fun to join a big table too. We never planned to come to Nacula island where Blue Lagoon Beach Resort is, and it turned out to be the perfect little island. The beach line is long and beautiful, the ocean is breathtaking with multiple shades of blue colors, the sand is very fine and white, and there is plenty to do. We snorkeled right outside of our villa’s beach and we saw colorful coral reefs, fish, and even sea turtles. We also hiked to see the nearby Yasawa islands (~40 min hike one way, a bit steep by the end but manageable and worth it; bring hat and lots of water). The resort also offers visits the local village and a cave, and farther away snorkeling and diving trips. We had such a great time there and can’t wait to come back!
